EACH PIECE IS A ONE-OF-A-KIND WITH NO DUPLICATES

Our story begins in 1950, when entrepreneur Richard Perry, moved his family to what was then Botsudoland, to explore oil fields in the area. In 1959, the region was split into 7 territories by the British, 6 colonies at the center of which was the Kingdom of Lesotho. it was there he discovered artisans in the kingdom, creating beautiful works of art for visiting dignitaries for the upcoming coronation of the first King of Lesotho, circa 1966. Included were textiles, canes, clothing , adornments and jewelry, each unique and meticulously handmade. The collection was destroyed, however a few precious pieces remained, and were purchased from the Perry Estate by the Faver Gallery , and are offered here. Presented here is an opportunity to own a piece of authentic African history, pieces made of ox horn , terra cotta and glass, each piece is a beautiful, one of a kind, irreplaceable piece of art. For the first time ever these thought lost pieces of art can be yours.
